Just Farmin'

Rem has been helping a member of our church on his farm for the past couple of years. He's been busy the past two weeks or so helping with planting season. Today, he called and wanted to know if Gav wanted to come ride with him (oh, and he also needed a lunch!) so we packed the cooler and headed out to the field! I'm so glad that Gavin will get to have farming experiences like we did when we were growing up. I still remember riding on the floor of the combine watching the header go around and around through the wheat field. I think that it's been embedded in Gavin's mind that all tractors are green (shocking, I know!) because when we pulled up he asked Rem, "Where's the green tractor?" It must not have bothered him too much that it wasn't green because he hopped right on and took a few rounds with daddy!
